JAGO NARI are making people and organizations aware of climate change issues

Bangladesh is one of the largest countries of the world regarding population is under threat of climate change. Due to climate change the southern part of Bangladesh is the most vulnerable area. The poor with resource constraints will not be able to cope with the adverse situation.  In order to make people and organizations aware of the climate change related problems, JAGO NARI facilitate to understand and to propagate the issue of climate change and related threats JAGO NARI develops a working relation with different local ,national and international organizations to be able to play its part in combating the climate change related problems and vulnerabilities.
JAGO NARI will articulate the idea or concept of VFL among the community and relevant stakeholders and relevant government departments through inception meeting, workshop and report/information sharing.
At the community level JAGO NARI will take initiative to find out the current situation and straggled and barrier that causes the community to become resilient and in terms of natural disaster or hazard through baseline Survey FDG and KII. Also JAGO NARI will find out some best practices and way forward to develop a resilient community through conducting workshops, seminar among the respective communities.
With the information and data gathered from community level JAGO NARI will conduct learning & shearing sessions with local stake holders, LGi’s and relevant government departments to develop a comprehensive inclusive risk or vulnerability reduction plan. the final plan will be share with government policy influencers through several advocacy initiatives which ultimately help government to achieve the goal of Sendai framework.
